How to become a leader or an achiever

                 What is leader or leadership ? 

In simple words, Leader is someone who shows the way and guides you in terms of achieving  your individual or group's goal and objectives. A leader helps in getting your task done through making you inspired  and motivated. A leader enthuse your confidence, boost your morale, manage the things, supports in increasing your self confidence, and finally helps in realising your dream. Leader is someone who is followed by others because of  his individual and group's efforts, struggle and achievements. A leader influences you through his characteristics and achievements.

What are the characteristics of a leader ? 

1. A true leader is ambitious and target oriented. 

2. He believes in performing and achieving.

 

3. He never gets frightened from the uphill task.

4. He keeps himself updated from the  changes that happens in his surroundings.

5.He believes in staying positive and creative.

6. He belives in delegation of his authority among others.

7. He stays impartial and unbiased.

8. A leader is not only a good listener but  he is also  a good communicator.

9. He is self-confident and optimistic.

10. He is visionary, passionate, compassionate and flexible.

11. A leader is aware about his responsibility and accountability for what he does.

How can you become a leader or an achiever ?

Leader is  also defined as a manager who is able to manage the things.He succeeds in getting the work/task done having utilised his skills, knowlege, intellect etc. You need to keep into your mind the following simple points if you want to become a leader or an achiever : -

1.Prove yourself  a good performer, doer and an achiever -  A leader is good doer. He becomes ideal for others because of his works, intelligence and creativity. He proves himself from his action and later become ideal so that others follow him. 

2. Stay Positive and optimistic -  A leader accepts challenges as he always remains positive, determined and confident. He believes in attaining what he aspires. He stays positive because he attains all what are required to remain positive. Once, you get positive and determined, no task seems to be impossible.

3. Concentrate on goal - A leader never gets distracted from his goals and plans.He concentrates only on his goals and keeps striving with slight changes in his strategy until he  accomplishes them. 

4. Think about betterment and be progressive - A true leader wins the confidence of all around him not only  through his progressive mindset but he also thinks about their betterment.

5. Perspicacity and broad mindedness-  - Farsightedness of person makes him different from rest of the people. A leader is broad thinker. He sees the things in different angles and come on conclusion having applied his wisdom, skill and honest endeavour.

6. Entertain other's suggestion and grievances-  A true leader never gets rigid instead he is always generous in terms of  asking for other's suggestion and grievances. 

We all work hard in order to get the position of an achiever in our respective professions and area of works but we hardly succeed in reaching to that level that people start following us. Reason behind failing to reach at that level is our apathy towards those basic needs which could help us  in bringing us in the line of a leader.
