How to handle panic and fear
What is Panic ?
Fear, confusion, suspicion, anxiety, panic and insecurity etc, all these are the results of vicissitude of time and life. Uncertainty in life is a reality. Whenever something good or bad occur in life we start to have various kind of negative and positive feelings. Panic is in fact a type of extreme negative feeling that is the result of anticipation of changes around which likely to have unfortunate impact on life.
Panic is a kind of fear where you find yourself getting nervous.Panic makes you feel weak vulnerable, scared and insecure. A fear of happenings of something untoward captivates your power of positive thinking that causes of making you feel much vulnerable. It creates chaos, unrestness and eventually it literally puts you in real danger.
Threat of a new wave of Covid has once again started creating panic all around. Since we have already known the lethal effect of Corona hence naturally this threat of new wave is making us afraid again.
Panic and it's effect on life -
1. Panic jeopardises your stable health if you are already suffering from disease.
2. It creates much stress and anxiety which may later on cause of new disease.
3. It take positivity away from you.
4. Your active mind become sluggish and inert.
Few tips to deal with panic and fear -
1. Try to be calm down yourself - Panic creates restlessness, anxiety and vice versa. Medical science says that it reduces your oxygen level from your body. So try to increase your oxygen level by walking around natural places. Calm down yourself by practicing deep and slow breathing. Drink plenty of water and juices in order to sooth your mind.
2. Distract your mind - Distract your mind from the events or issues that causes of fear and panic. Engage yourself the games or activities you love to enjoy.
3. Concentrate on some light exercise - You need full concentration in order to distract the thought of impending problems. Do light exercise two times a day- morning and evening. Close your eyes and concentrate on the things you would love to concentrate for longer period. Take rest and try to get a good sleep.
5. Alert and precaution - Take stock of the situation that causes of fear and panic. Every problem has some solutions provided that we get alert and prepare to face the impanding problems.Every untoward happens because of our indifferent behaviour hence we need to be alert and get prepared to face them bravely instead of giving in before the problem.
6. Follow the rules and guidelines - There are specific guidelines and rule to run the life as well as the system we live in. For instance, If one gets sick one has to follow the instruction what doctor advises to do. There are specific guidelines to handle specific situation which are advised by the expertise in the respective field in order to control the situation. Hence we need to follow the guidelines closely otherwise chances of getting victim of those fears get increased.
In short, panic and fear are part of life so the incidences and problems. What we need to do is to figure out the ways to come out of it. If the impending untoward situation prolongs, fear and panic would obviously also increases at individual level. Matter of concern is that panic and fear have enough potential that could impact on your stable health. So try to be alert, aware and follow the guidelines advised by expertise in the respective field. Stay healthy - Stay alert - stay happy and believe in the fact that events and incidences are like a wind which come and go.
